North Easton, MA—Daniel T. Morse, the esteemed president of Morse Insurance Agency, has been awarded the prestigious Henry F. Barry, Jr. Memorial Pacesetter Award by the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA).

The Pacesetter Award is named after former MAIA president and staff member Henry F. Barry, Jr. It is presented annually to the MAIA member who exemplifies the traits set forth by Barry in his personal and professional life—hard work, perseverance, compassion, and charity.

Dan received the award at the organization’s annual meeting, taking place at the Big Event Convention and Trade Show.

This recognition is a testament to Dan’s exceptional leadership, unwavering commitment to excellence, and significant contributions to the insurance industry and his community in Southeastern Massachusetts.

Dan, a second-generation agency owner, shares the responsibility of running Morse with his two brothers, Tim and Brian Morse. Under their leadership, Morse Insurance Agency has consistently demonstrated excellence in customer service, industry knowledge, and community engagement through various outreach and philanthropic initiatives.

Dan is a past MAIA chairman of the board of directors and is currently on the executive board of Insurance Services of New England (ISNE). Over the years, he has served on the advisory boards and agent councils of many insurance carriers Morse Insurance represents. He is passionate about his community and is currently the president of For Our Residents of Easton (FORE); is an active volunteer with the Easton YMCA, where they recognized him as Man of the Year in 2019; is a faithful advisor for the Children’s Museum of Easton; is a trustee for the North Easton Savings Bank; and is the former president of the Easton Chamber of Commerce, where he was also recognized as Business Man of the Year in 2006. Dan lives in Easton, Massachusetts, with his wife, Amy, and three sons.
