Morse Insurance Agency, Inc. Acquires W.L. Churchill Insurance Agency, Inc. Of Easton, MA
North Easton, MA – The W.L. Churchill Insurance Agency, Inc., a longstanding business in the Easton community, will merge with The Morse Insurance Agency, Inc., effective September 1, 2022.
Gayle Goward Hulbert, who has served as owner and president of W.L. Churchill since 1997, says, “For over 60 years, our family-owned agency has provided the highest level of professional service and quality insurance products to our personal and business clients. We have truly enjoyed getting to know each client personally and tailoring policies to meet their specific needs. I am excited for the many new opportunities and benefits that being part of Morse Insurance will provide to our insureds.”
Founded in 1950, Morse Insurance is also a longtime pillar and active member of the Southeastern, MA, community. The agency has four locations, including one at 285 Washington St., North Easton. This office is right down the road from where Churchill has been located, which should help ensure a smooth transition for clients.

This past October 2021, Morse merged with Habig & Magoon Insurance Agency, previously of South Easton, MA. In addition, Morse’s Bridgewater and Norton locations are the direct result of agency acquisition deals—Arnberg Insurance in January 2000 and Peloquin Insurance in October 2010, respectively. The total number of merger and acquisition deals Morse has participated in is now 14.
